Streetsboro Community PTA was awarded a National PTA grant to hold an internet safety night for our community. The FREE community event is called PTA Connected With Facebook, is geared toward families with kids in grades 2-5, and is family-friendly.
Join us on Tuesday, April 23rd at Defer Intermediate School from 6 p.m.- 8 p.m. for dinner, raffles, and learning. Attendees will be entered into a raffle to win a free Dell Chromebook and other great prizes.
Attendees can expect to:
Connect with your children in order to understand what it’s like for them growing up online
Work through interactive sessions with Streetsboro community educators and leaders to explore how your family responds to real life online interactions and how you can protect one another online
Walk away with an action plan to set guidelines on device use and online habits
Admission is free, but requires advance registration by Wednesday, April 17th.
